Overview: As a member of the Engineering Project Management Office you will have project or program management responsibilities focused on Engineering initiatives. You will manage multiple projects/programs from initiation through delivery. You will be responsible and accountable for meeting the project/program requirements by applying project management skills, tools, and techniques to manage the project/program scope, quality, schedule, budget, resources, and risk. Projects are typically high value multi-million dollar long term projects. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Conducts end to end project management of multiple projects and may also manage sub-components of a large program. Manage a team of project managers as part of a larger program initiative. Leads cross functional teams to complete projects or program deliverables within allotted timeline and budget. Identifies key internal/external stakeholders necessary for project completion and develops overall strategy for executive of high value projects/program. Defines project/program scope and objectives, guides activities of a project/program team including delegating tasks to team members, identifying resources, and establishing the timeline for deliverables. Projects/programs typically span multiple business units or are company-wide, and requiring a high level of coordination amongst the cross functional teams. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conducts project/program meetings and is responsible for project/program tracking and analysis. Ensure adherences to quality standards and reviews project/program deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables as necessary. Mentors and provides guidance to the project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of issues. Communicates effectively to senior level management and executive leadership.Desired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Management or related field preferred. Six to ten plus years’ experience in a technology environment. Minimum of five years in a project/program management role. Applied experience in Waterfall and Agile methodologies. MS Office, Project, Visio, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint. PMP and/or Six Sigma certification desired.
