Increase sales and market share of the TE sensor business through being a competent technical partner to the customersFill new product pipeline and win projects to ensure future growthMajor contributor towards TE’s organic growth strategyBe the Sensor application expert at customer site during design and validation phasesIdentify new applications & customersProvide VOC to TE internal teamsResponsibilities: Build customer relationships and be accepted as a competent partner by the customersExecute sensor growth strategyAcquisition of new projects at existing & new customers / applicationsTranslation of the voice of customer into product requirementsProject Management of new and existing sales and engineering projects from demand creation to production:Interface between the TE Engineering design team and the customer to ensure that both sides understand the requirements and have all needed information availableCoordination and early involvement of and on-time communication with all involved TE internal departments (account manager, engineering, production, project management, marketing, etc.)Ensure on time customer delivery of all information, including samples and supporting design and product verification activitiesWork in close cooperation with the sales / marketing and engineering teamsIdentification of new technology or application trends in the market placeAbility to create ideas to generate an advantage for TE at the customerSupport customer, application and competitor market analysisSupport MARCOM activities such as Articles, Flyers, Fairs, and Tech-DaysStrong team player with good communication skillsProfessional presentation of the TE sensor portfolioQualifications: BS Degree in Engineering required with 5 years of relevant experienceHigh degree of knowledge in sensor technology and / or electronics / mechatronics – focus on temperature, humidity and pressure technologiesGood understanding about cost and invest structures for electronic components such as sensorsGood understanding of Appliance applications and systems a plus: Major Appliances, Housewares, Power Tools, Garage Door Openers as examplesStrong capability to turn customer needs into a business opportunitiesAbility to manage a cross functional team in a matrix organizationInnovative thinker and problem solver. Willingness to push for better solutionsProfessional English in written and verbal form; professional presentation skillsWillingness to travel up to 50% to key customers and other TE sites
