Roth, a Sodexo company, is a national leader in the construction, building and service markets, providing a one source solution for the Energy Conservation and Quality of Life Service Solution needs of todayâs customers is seeking a Facilities Automation MonitoringÂ Manager for its Energy Management System (EMS) Response Center.Â This position is responsible forÂ the day-to-day activity of Rothâs EMS Response Center, to ensure that every call is handled in a professional, appropriate and timely manner from creation to resolution.Â Â Â Â Essential Duties and Responsibilities:1.Â Â On a daily basis, Work in partnership with Director of EMS Response Center to direct EMS Response Center staff in addressing customer concerns and requests related to both the software and hardware components of their automation and/or security systems.2.Â Â Supervision of EMS Response Center staff:Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Ensure customer and subcontractor calls are answered in a timely,professional, and knowledgeable manner.Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Establish scheduling for EMS Response Center staff, based on day of week, month of year, and other anticipated events.Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Make certain work procedures and processes, that supportcompany and departmental strategies, are properly being followed.Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Ensure EMS Response Center staff have appropriate training,tools and other resources, in order to properly perform theirdaily responsibilities. Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Provide continual evaluation of processes and procedures,suggesting methods to improve areas of operation, efficiency and service to both internal and external customers.Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Monitor individual, team and overall resultsÂ·Â Â Â Â Â Â Promptly report to management, staff disciplinary and/orperformance problems.3.Â Â Accountable for performing essential duties and responsibilities as an EMS Response Center staff member. (see âEMS Response Center â System Analystâ job description)4.Â Â Use appropriate judgment in upward communication regarding department or employee concerns, as well as downward communication to insure staff is fully informed of all new procedures, products, customer needs and company related issues, changes, etc.5.Â Â In Coordination with Director of EMS Response Center, Accomplishes human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; administering scheduling systems; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.Â 6.Â Â Meets departmental financial objectives by estimating requirements; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
