Overview:Â The Hartman Non-Profit is seeking to hire an adaptable, highly-motivated professional with at least one year of experience to support our team in the role of (selected title).Â The (selected title) position is one of two entry-level positions that are primarily responsible for supporting and assisting the Director of Development with the implementation of fund development activities. This position requires strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize as well as multi-task.Â The (selected title) and will provide support to and work in collaboration with the Director of Development for the Hartman Non-Profit, an organization established to empower Pastors and their congregations to restore Christian values in America, while training disciples to preach the Gospel powerfully and fruitfully worldwide. Â The (selected title) is an essential role designed to enhance the teamâs ability to leverage new opportunities, cultivate critical relationships and maintain high standards of excellence in all external communications and relationships. The development team is responsible for achieving the organizationâs fundraising goals as well as powerfully stewarding and strengthening Hartman Non-Profitâs relationships with the individuals, corporations and foundations that provide financial support for its programs and operations. Â Fund development is essential to the overall success of the organization and therefore, it is imperative that the person in this role be dedicated to providing the support needed by the Director of Development to assist in securing the resources necessary for providing support to those administering and accessing these programs.Â Some of the anticipated position Duties and Responsibilities include: Â Individual Donor DevelopmentÂ·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Assist with the design and development of a donor page; Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Support the development of a contact(s) database and in identifying, cultivating and soliciting major donors and prospective donors; Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Coordinate print and web materials designed to promote Hartman Non-Profit and its work to external audiences; Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Assist with the production of special letters, gift acknowledgments and other communications with donors and friends of Hartman Non-Profit, creating them âfrom scratchâ as necessary or redesigning as appropriate. Â Donor Cultivation/Donor Outreach Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Build ongoing relationships with program/funding officers working on issues addressed in the targeted fundraising initiatives; Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Attend relevant industry meetings and strive to place Hartman Non-Profit leadership as speakers on relevant programs or workshops. Â Identifying Funding Sources Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Research potential funders for specific initiatives; Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Support the development of a fundraising strategy that incorporates targeted funders and timelines and builds relationships; Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Facilitate the development of relationships with funders through presentations, personal meetings, regular communications, or arranging for meetings with Hartman Non-Profitâs management and/or program staff. Â Proposal & Award Management Assistance Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Support the establishment of timelines and work distribution for the successful development of specific funding proposals or other materials to present to specific funders; Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Assist in drafting the development of funding proposals; Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Actively assist/oversee budget development for fundraising proposals; Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Track funding awards and report timelines; Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Coordinate timely and effective fund reporting as necessary or requested; Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Assist in the oversight of timely production for all deliverables tied to deliverables-based funding; Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Communicate to the donorsâ program staff any challenges arising in program or budget fulfillment in a timely manner. Â Fundraising EventsÂ·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Assist in the organization of Annual events for Hartman Non-Profit; Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Help organize various other events (public and invitation only) to help promote Hartman Non-Profit as appropriate. Â Required Abilities and Experience:Â Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â A strong commitment to Christian values and the willingness and ability to articulate them in everyday life.Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â A minimum of a Bachelorâs degree in a business, social services, public administration, or other related field.Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Knowledge of research techniques and resources in the fields of philanthropy as they relate to specific causes. oÂ Â Proven experience in applying this knowledge to develop and carry out research projects such as analysis of financial information concerning an individual, an industry or corporation and determination of the best means of approaching potential donors.Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Exposure to grant writing, individual donor development and/or fund development. Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Technological literacy and proficiency in standard word processing, spreadsheet and data base software applications.Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Publisher, Power Point).Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Strong organizational skills with a motivation to continuously improve.Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Knowledge of and commitment to serve. Â Preferred Abilities and Experience:Â Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â A Masterâs degree or MBA.Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Experience in web development, experience with Photoshop.
