Business Development Manager 3493BR Minnesota (651) 628-4010 Job Description Business Development Manager Whelan Security is seeking an assertive, competitive, fun and competitive sales producer for our Business Development Manager role in the Twin Cities. If you are interested in selling six to seven figure contracts, seeking unlimited income potential that includes a base salary and commissions and benefitting from evergreen residual payouts on every account you sell, then this is the role for you.   Qualifications As a Business Development Manager your responsibilities are: Prospect for new business via cold calling and networking Qualifying new client prospects Spearhead account planning, generate proposals and design pricing structure Represent Whelan at industry networking events Lead by example in accordance with the Whelan Values Business Development Managers are measured against the following metrics: Personally sell new accounts  to meet/exceed budgeted sales goals Add at least five new qualified prospects to database each week Meet with a minimum of five prospects each week Generate a minimum of three proposals each month Close a minimum of one new contract per month (after training period) Desired skills and experience: At least 5+ years of relevant experience in a business development with stable work history A college degree (Bachelors) is preferred although equivalent experience will be considered Pass an extensive background screening which includes, but is not limited to, criminal background checks (local, state, and federal), drug test, aptitude tests, skills assessments, interviews, past employment verification, and a personality profile (behavioral assessment).
