The Director of Talent Acquisition will manage the recruiting efforts for our company. You will lead, develop and mentor a team of Recruiters/Recruiting Coordinators to attract and on-board top talent to the organization.  This position is based at our Corporate Headquarters in St. Louis, MO. This position reports to the VP of Human Resources and is key member of the Whelan Security leadership team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing recruiting strategies that allow us to attract the most highly qualified talent to our business. Specifically, this includes: Talent Forecasting and Planning, including partnering in the planning, approval, and implementation of Workforce Plans / Talent Acquisition projections. Implementing strategies to achieve quality of hire, time to fill and diversity targets. Managing the Talent Acquisition team budget. Analyzing recruitment metrics and designing strategies based on outcomes. Ensuring adherence to compliant recruiting and hiring practices. Providing clear direction to team on expectations to drive results. Responsible for the identification and development of program and process improvements to increase productivity and quality. Owning critical hiring requisitions and as needed fill in to insure overall hiring needs are met. Qualifications Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years professional experience in a talent acquisition, talent management or human resources role. Experience in hiring, mentoring, and leading a team of HR/recruiting professionals. Experience with both ‘hands on” recruiting as well as team leadership. Proven track record of sourcing, recruiting, and closing exceptional talent (especially passive candidates). Experience and proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems and other recruiting software. Ability to interpret market trends and adjust recruitment strategies as needed in response to changes in the environment. Strong change management skills. SHRM/SPHR Certification a plus.
